SearchGoat is a simple starting point for people who know what they need but are not always sure where to search for it.
The idea
One search box should not pretend every question is the same.
A research paper, a nearby place, a job and a code error need different sources. SearchGoat organizes trusted search destinations by purpose, explains their strengths and lets the visitor decide where a query goes.
The first version is intentionally lightweight: no account, no paid search API and no hidden ranking system. It is useful immediately, while leaving room for carefully designed search summaries later.

SearchGoat keeps no query log. Your chosen provider receives the query only after you press Search, under that provider’s privacy policy.
